What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember things between pages and visits — for example, that you are signed in.

Cookies we use

Strictly necessary (always on)

These keep the site working and secure. They cannot be switched off.

• MoodleSession — keeps you signed in as you move between pages. It is deleted when you close your browser or log out.
• MOODLEID1_ — remembers your username on the login screen so you do not have to retype it. It does not store your password.
• Cookie-consent — remembers your cookie choices so we do not ask again on every page.

Preferences

These remember choices you make, such as your language or light/dark display mode, so the site behaves the way you left it.

Managing cookies
