Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to ASI Education Pro, an online platform providing digital training, workforce development, curated news, and real-time engagement for government employees in the United States. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our platform and services.

2. Acceptance of terms

  • By accessing or using ASI Education Pro, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
  • If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

3. User eligibility

  • ASI Education Pro is intended for use by current government employees of the United States at the federal, state, or local level.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use this platform.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that your use of ASI Education Pro complies with your agency's policies and regulations.

4. Registration and account security

  • You are required to create an account using your government-issued email address.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password.
  • You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Privacy and data protection

  • Our collection and use of your personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms & Conditions by reference.
  • We comply with all applicable federal and state data protection laws, including but not limited to the Privacy Act of 1974 and the E-Government Act of 2002.

6. Intellectual property

  • All content on ASI Education Pro, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of ASI Education Pro or its content suppliers and is protected by U.S. copyright laws.
  • You may access and use the content for your personal, non-commercial use only.
  • You may not modify, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on our content without our explicit permission.
  • If you submit, upload, or post any content to the platform (including coursework, comments, or discussion posts), you retain ownership of that content, but you grant ASI Education Pro a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and reproduce it solely for the purpose of operating and improving the platform.

7. User conduct

  • You agree not to use ASI Education Pro for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these Terms & Conditions.
  • You will not upload, post, or transmit any content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
  • You will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or interfere with its functionality.

8. Content and services

  • ASI Education Pro provides access to training materials, news articles, and engagement tools. We strive to ensure the accuracy and relevance of this content but do not guarantee its completeness or timeliness.
  • The platform may include links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these sites.

9. Compliance with government ethics and regulations

  • Users are responsible for ensuring their use of ASI Education Pro complies with all applicable government ethics rules and regulations.
  • ASI Education Pro does not offer or promote any content that could be construed as lobbying or attempting to influence government policy.
  • If we become aware of a suspected violation of applicable government ethics rules in connection with your use of the platform, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and, where required by law or requested by your employing agency, to report the suspected violation to that agency.

10. Limitation of liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, ASI Education Pro and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the platform.
  • Except for liability arising from gross negligence, willful misconduct, or violation of applicable law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount, if any, paid by you to ASI Education Pro in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100).

11. Indemnification

  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ASI Education Pro and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or your violation of these Terms & Conditions.

12. Modifications to the platform and terms

  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue ASI Education Pro at any time without notice.
  • We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

  • These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
  • Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of ASI Education Pro shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state courts located in Fairfax County, Virginia, or the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, as applicable, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
